I'm leaving the Quote challenge up for this week. Even though the quote may have been given by a certain character in a certain series, that does not matter. Any series, movie, moment can be used by anyone. The quote is: "No one is expendable" -Bashir in The Search, Part 1. The quote should be included in the icon, much like a lyrical contest. Post quote icons to this post in a screened comment.

I almost forgot to welcome our new memebers, I am very excited to see our numbers growing! Keep spreading the good word about trekicontest! And please, all members may vote and submit icons for the various contests. Welcome and enjoy!

Info/Rules Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that there has been an addition/change to the rules. I've added a #8: Anyone may vote--even those who are not community members. However, anonymous voting posts will not be accepted and counted. Just to encourage interest and voting.

I would also like to remind all that members of this community have the ability to submit icons. If anyone would like to submit an icon, please become a member of the community! We would love to have you join the ranks and support a great fandom!!

The reason I have all postings open and not screened for members only is to make it easier for members (and interested or voting non-members) to see the postings and see what's happening here at trekicontest, as wisely suggested by carha. I would like to keep the community open and welcoming like that, just please remember the rules in the profile! Thanks!!
