Challenge 217: Star Trek Into Darkness

My apologies for the delay in posting Challenge 216 voting, had some trouble with LJ comments this week. Please do vote on some great Cardassian icons!

Now, for the next challenge I'm posting it earlier (or later, depending on how you look at it), but still running it for all of next week.

This week is the official premiere of the new Star Trek film, Into Darkness! It is released on May 17, so in honor of the new show, this week we will icon the teaser trailer. You may ONLY use images from the trailer, as provided by TrekCore at THIS LINK.


RULES:
- You may enter up to 4 (four) icons for this challenge.
- Only members may enter.
- The same cap may be used more than once provided the crop is significantly different.
- Use only screen captures from the link provided, no promo/actor images.

the usual, but please remember:
- All icons must fit LJ req's: 100 x 100, 40k, and PNG, JPG or GIF format.
- Animation, textures, brushes, text, any caps are allowed.
- All icons must be original to THIS challenge.
- Icons must remain anonymous until after voting.
- Submit your icons to THIS post in a screened comment with URL and image.

Hi there, thanks for participating! However, I can't see your images. Have you uploaded them to a hosting site? Here's the html format for you to submit the icons:

All you need to do is to replace the URL with the actual link to the image - once in the html code and once underneath it by itself. If you have trouble finding that, let me know. Most hosting pages have a spot that says "direct link" or something that you can copy.

The html code won't copy right with the spaces I've included here, so copy the html code at the bottom of the rules section on this page, where it says "Feel free to use this form...". Hope that helps!

Okay, so I tried and it did a bunch of garbled code stuff that didn't work. I'll try uploading to my own account here and seeing if the link works that way. Sorry about this.

No problem at all - I saw some of the comments with the garbled text. I think the problem with the link copied is that it included some html code in there (the <a href=" bit), so it probably confused the computers. No worries, though, I am happy to accept your icons - just PM them to me and I'll include them. I appreciate you trying, and for participating!! Definitely want to encourage the Trek icon-making! : )
