I'm going to extend voting a little bit here, guys. I would just loooove to have some more votes in before I tally them all up, so if you guys could vote, it would be fabulous for everything and everyone! Tomorrow (Monday) I will tally up votes and post the next week's contest! These were great submissions this week, keep it up! And keep advertising trekicontest!!

New Contest For This Week!!!

Even though I haven't officially closed voting for our first contest yet, I will post this week's contest so people can go ahead and begin on that.

This week's contest will be catgorical. I will give a topic/area/genre/category and each member may make 1 icon based on any of the series or movies representing that category. Anything can be done--animation, text, brushes, etc etc etc. Have fun with it!!

The category is...history. Anytime anyone went back in time or people were thrown into a historical situation can be used. Some examples of episodes: A City on the Edge of Forever, QPid, the movie First Contact. Going back in time can even be brief or in a dream or in the holodeck or something like that.

Post all icons to this post in a screened comment by Friday 10 pm EST (I will post if there will be an extension--I'd love to get at least 4 in!). Remember to include the URL and icon! Thanks and have fun!!!

PSA: I changed the view of the page layouts for the trekicontest page so it would be a little easier to follow and read. Just wanted to let everyone know so it wouldn't catch anyone off guard!
