Well I have received no icons for this week, therefore there will be no animated icon poll. I will do my best to get a new contest up for Monday.

Please, folks, I would appreciate some input. Ideas, blanks, caps, sites, quotes, lyrics, etc etc etc!!! I would love to have more community input here...comment them to this post or email me at startrekljicons@yahoo.com.

Anything...suggestions, ideas, comments...I'm a bit stressed here, and may even be looking for a co-mod if anyone is interested. Let me know in a comment or an email.

Well, for starters, I never do animation challenges because I don't have a good photo editor. I can make text change color and stuff, but that's about it, so I always skip those. I liked the "find an alien" challenge, and I liked the song lyric challenge, and I also like challenges where you post a cap for us to use. But I also haven't been iconning much lately, here or in the other challenge communities I belong to.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it can be difficult to find pictures of Star Trek (esp the older one).

I could almost say the same of Star Wars, except there have been alot of pictures, but not a whole lot of variety. (That will likely change since the dvd's are out now! hehe) SW has a more organized fan base, etc. (this has nothing to do with icons. bleh)

Has it gotten harder to get entries since school started? Everything dropped for me so I up'd the icon limit to 2 and lengthened the contest to two weeks. :\
